MONTAÑITA BEACH

Montañita is a small colorful town located in the coast of Ecuador in the province of Santa Elena. To 200 km from the city of Guayaquil. The Montañita Beach is known in Ecuador as the best beach for practice surfing.
Montañita is now a tourist resort. It has a population of 1,000 inhabitants.

Montañita is perfect place for surfing with waves reaching up to three meters high. Is considered as the surfing capital of Ecuador. Montañita has surfing competitions throughout all the year.








In the place the tourists can find all kinds of bars, restaurants, handicrafs, parties, ecological cabins, campfire at sunset, surf lessons , and foreigners of various nationalities.
